VPS vs Dedicated Server
A VPS provides an isolated virtual server with allocated resources. A dedicated server assigns a physical server configuration to one customer. Availability, scale and operational requirements determine which model is appropriate.

- Start with published workload requirements, not a category label.
- Use a VPS when a current virtual plan satisfies the application.
- Request dedicated inventory only when the workload genuinely needs the physical configuration or greater fixed capacity.
